A panicked woman entered the clinic of our vet. She came to report a dog she had seen hiding under a car for nearly a week, and she was concerned for the dogs health as she was sure he had been without food or water for nearly a week.
Lana, the President of Animals Lebanon, tried to calm and reassure the woman, assuming it was like so many cases we have dealt with before.

A Gala to remember, the beginning of change
On Thursday, 17 June, the majestic Palais Mouawad Gardens was transformed for the first Animals Lebanon Gala for Change. The sold out event raise nearly $45,000 to support the vital work of Animals Lebanon.
Animals Lebanon was founded less than two years ago, but the determination of the five founders quickly built the movement into a night where 350 people from all sectors of society came together.

National Workshop on Animal Welfare
Experts from across the European Union will join stakeholders in Lebanon for the first national workshop on animal welfare on May 18th and 19th.
Held under the patronage of the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, HE Dr. Hussein Hajj Hassan, this two day workshop is a major initiative to enact national animal welfare legislation.

Help us adopt more then 40 kittens
Socks was stuck in an empty lot next to a construction site in Beirut. The city is already very dangerous and frightening for animals trying to survive on the streets, but Socks was just a kitten and he got himself stuck in the worst place possible.
As the building on the construction site was being demolished, small pieces of concrete fell in the area and the air was full of dust.
