As Animals Lebanon continues to work to improve or close down more zoos, we received an update from Turkey about Kira and Big Mama. After having been locked for so many years, we knew it would not be easy settling into a new home, but that with time they would realize what they had been missing all this time.
Dr. Huseyin Cihan, the Turkish vet and bear expert who came to Lebanon to help move the bears, sent an update on their progress.
