    We want to thank everyone for helping make the Beirut Marathon a success for Animals Lebanon. We could not have done it without the help of IndyAct and all the great volunteers from the International College.

    Animals Lebanon stand at the Marathon village attracted so many people over the four days who are interested in helping or adopting a pet. While we dont like to brag, we are sure our stand was the best looking one there. read more

    Little Moyebi was abandoned as a tiny kitten, only days old. Lifeless and barely breathing, hourly care by the staff and volunteers of Animals Lebanon brought him back to health and gave him his first chance to truly be a playful kitten.

    Moyebi is now full of life and love, and will spend his first holiday season with the warmth and care of his new family. read more

    Sexy cat women welcomed a great crowd of friends who danced through the night in support of a great cause and the vital work done by Animals Lebanon. So many new people heard about the launching party for Animals Lebanon playing on MixFM, and BO18 generously donated a portion of the proceeds of the night. read more

    Truman's Story

    My name is Truman and I am a Husky born in early 2008. I got my name from the movie ‘Eight Below’, although unlike the movie my guardian never even came back for me.

    I was first bought to be a guard dog at a cabin in the snowy mountains of Faraya. After a couple of weeks, I was abandoned and I was given to the concierge and he was supposed to take care of me. He soon decided he simply didn’t want me around and I was left to fend for myself. read more

    Animals Lebanon is having a flea market on Sunday, 29 March at De Prague, in Hamra, from 11:00 to 17:00.

    Big Mama, along with Kira, was rescued from a dilapidated zoo by Animals Lebanon.

    These two bears were brought to Lebanon years ago by a European Circus. Sadly, they were bought by a zoo and remained there for over a decade, Suffering and neglected in small cages, the bears were only one example of the animals locked in the zoo. read more

    We woke up Christmas morning with an email alerting us to a shipment of lions and tigers that was on the Egyptian/Jordanian border and it was headed to Lebanon.

    This shipment of six lions and three tigers is part of a circus that was coming here to perform for six months, and advertisements were put up throughout Beirut. read more
