A gala to remember - the begining of change
On Thursday, 17 June, the majestic Palais Mouawad Gardens was transformed for the first Animals Lebanon Gala for Change. The sold out event raised nearly $45,000 to support the vital work of Animals Lebanon.

Confiscated parrots highlight urgency to join CITES
Customs officers in Bulgaria confiscation 108 grey parrots that arrived from Lebanon.  The endangered parrots arrived to Sofia airport on a flight from Beirut, and illustrate the urgent need for Lebanon to join CITES, the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species.

Spay day initiatives 2010
After introducing TNR ? Trap Neuter Return ? to Lebanon in 2008, we thought it was going to be something very difficult to get people to understand and accept.  But after two years, 50,000 flyers and other forms of awareness, people have not only accepted it but have joined efforts.

World Animal Day 2009
This October 4th, Lebanon Celebrated World Animal Day with Animals Lebanon and Lana El-Khalil, the Lebanese Ambassador for World Animal Day. Animals Lebanon founders, staff and volunteers came together throughout Beirut to speak up for the animals.

Statement on homeless dogs
Recently there have been many comments and a lot of attention on the issue of stray and homeless dogs.
Most of this seems to have been a result of a person being attacked and injured by a dog in the south of Lebanon, as well as subsequent statements made by the prominent cleric Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah.

Kitten season turns into adoption season with MIX FM
When new life is brought on to the earth, it is usually a cause of celebration and joy. But for the homeless animals on the streets of Lebanon, this means a large population of newly born kittens who face sickness, starvation, injuries, cruelty, and for many, death.
