At 2:45 AM the night between Sunday and Monday we were all suddenly awakened by the sound of heavy bombing. The war is sadly back.

Lebanon cannot survive another crisis. We are still recovering from the last war, and now we are facing another devastating escalation.
Our country is exhausted.
Our people are exhausted.
And the animals — the most vulnerable among us — are once again in grave danger.
For two days, intense strikes targeted the Beirut, Bekaa, the South, and other areas across the country. More than 50 villages received evacuation warnings.
Hundreds injured overnight. Tens of thousands displaced. At least 30 people killed.
These numbers continue to rise as we write this. The situation is extremely tense. The bombing continues.
The streets are congested with families fleeing their homes. Many received warning calls or messages telling them their areas would be bombed. In the chaos, people were forced to leave without their pets.
There are now:
- Pets left behind in empty homes
- Injured animals on the streets
- Homeless cats and dogs
- Local wildlife affected
- Endangered wildlife trapped in zoos
- Farm animals without care
We don’t know where this is headed. We are in an unknown and frightening situation. Right now, nowhere feels safe.
But as always, we will do everything we can to help animals survive this nightmare.
To do that we urgently need your support.
Your donation will help us provide:
- Emergency veterinary care for injured animals
- Rescue missions for pets left behind
- Support for endangered and vulnerable animals
- Transport for stranded pets
- Food, cages, and medicine
- Distribution of food for homeless animals
- Critical medications
- Assistance for families trying to leave Lebanon with their pets
