Paralyzed dog needs your help to get a new wheelchair

Rescued just two days ago, this smart and cute little dog captured the hearts of everyone who met her! She is only 4.6 kg but full of life and funny tricks.

Lala used to live with Abed, the concierge of a building, who took care of her as best as he could for someone of his modest means. Four months ago, Lala was hit by a car. Abed rushed her to the vet not knowing what he was in for. He was told that, in order for Lala to walk again, a $700 surgery was needed. Otherwise it was best to put her to sleep.

Abed was very attached to Lala and didn't want to end her life. He desperately wanted to improve her condition and even built her the best wheelchair he could make.

Sadly that's all he was able to do especially that back then he didn't know animal welfare NGOs existed.

A couple of days ago we got an email from one of our volunteers regarding Lala's case and immediately rushed her to the vet. According to the x-ray and first check-up, nothing can be done to get her to walk again. We can just treat her ulcers and wounds for now and get her to a family who can care for her.

Lala is a survivor and she's suffered so much. We won't give up on her but we urgently need your help to give her the treatment she needs and get her adopted into a loving home.

The first step would be ordering her a special wheelchair.

We asked Abed after all he has been through with Lala how he could give her up. Abed explained "Anyone who is willing to help Lala must be a very kind and good person."

Donate now so Lala can get a new wheelchair and all of the treatment to get her healthy again.
