Animals Lebanon welcomes new advisors

To continue to secure our place as a leading NGO, Animals Lebanon recently welcomed three new advisers.  Each bringing the passion, expertise and talent to move Animals Lebanon forward, our advisers are community leaders who recognize how important animals are to every one of us.

May El-Khalil, best known as the President of the Beirut Marathon Association, brings her experience of founding and developing one of the most well known organizations in Lebanon.

This year Animals Lebanon is a partner NGO with the marathon, helping us to raise funds and exposure, and reinforcing to the public that animal welfare is as important as any other issue.  Just as she has inspired tens of thousands of people to take part in the marathon and use it as a platform for positive social change, we are sure she can inspire people to join Animals Lebanon and take up the cause of animal welfare.

Carmen Leboss is an award winning Lebanese actress known for her work in films, theater and television.  Loved in the region and recognized worldwide, Carmen will use this recognition to show just how important it is that we all work to improve animal welfare standards in Lebanon.

Roger Saad is the owner and CEO of MixFM, one of the top radio stations in the Middle East.  Radio can be a very powerful tool to motivate the public and build momentum for any cause, and over the past year MixFM has helped Animals Lebanon get rescued animals adopted and carry out exciting fundraising events.  With Rogers expertise in radio and media the message of Animals Lebanon will be broadcast nationwide for all to hear.

As Animals Lebanon works to make the issue of animal welfare a national concern, business and community leaders play a vital role.  The involvement and assistance from May, Carmen and Roger is a great example of how any community leader can take an active role in improving our country.

If you are one of these leaders, or if you know someone you believe can significantly help the campaign to improve animal welfare standards, then please contact Animals Lebanon so we can have you by our side.

Just as animal welfare affects all of us, we can all play a part in making Lebanon a leader in how it treats animals.
