PREVENT SUFFERING, SPAY TODAY

It is the last Tuesday of February, and that means Spay Day International.  To celebrate Spay Day International we are once again offering our TNR vouchers for half off!

Every year Animals Lebanon joins group around the world in celebrating Spay Day to help inspire people to save the lives of animals through spaying and neutering.  From training local vets and speaking to school groups about the importance of TNR, carrying out spaying campaigns and every February we make sure homeless cats and dogs struggling to survive on the streets are not forgotten.

We have all heard stories or saw firsthand the destruction caused in Lebanon by the shooting and poisoning of stray animals.  Our draft animal welfare law will address the problems that lead to animals being abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs are treated much more humanely and that TNR is used to safely control the population.

At the same time, we are helping prevent suffering before it even starts through safe and humane spay and neuter programs.

Our TNR voucher program, under an agreement with the Lebanese Veterinary Order, allows anyone to spay or neuter homeless cats for only $40, and homeless dogs for $80.  Participating veterinarians have received training to ensure the operation and recovery are quick and safe, and this is a significant discount of the normal price these vets offer.

This year we are offering TNR vouchers for half off - $20 per cat and $40 per dog.  Through March 15 vouchers will be half off, a perfect opportunity to spay or neuter any homeless animals you have been caring for.

We will be visiting schools to help students understand the benefits and joys companion animals can bring to our lives, and the importance of respecting and caring for homeless cats and dogs.

At the same time, Animals Lebanon will be out with our trapping cages, making sure as many animals can be spayed as possible.  We will continue to help groups of homeless cats and dogs get the care they need and prevent even more animals from being born on the streets.

Get your vouchers now and do you part to help prevent suffering before it even starts.
